Andrea has over 25 years of leadership experience within the Higher Education sector.
With a professional background in human resources management and organisational development, she has extensive experience of delivering large-scale cultural transformation programmes in Higher Education and public and private sectors.
As Chief Operating Officer at the University of Sunderland, Andrea provides Executive oversight of several of the University’s professional services, and, as Clerk to the Board of Governors, she holds responsibility for the University’s governance, regulatory and statutory framework.
Andrea holds postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and Employment Law with the universities of Northumbria and Surrey and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
